Technics 1200 repair and DJ Turntables

We prioritize Technics 1200/1210 service packages

​​- All models of Technics1200 and DJ Turntables, plus belt and direct drive Technics models of the era. Service packages, all repairs including "runaway platters", playback distortion and phasing, speed issues discontinued parts supplied, LED target light conversions, 240V conversions.

$125 for Standard Service. Large array of discontinued Technics 1200 parts kept on hand for fast turn around.

 - Full inspection visual, test point and thermal, for any components that may be close to failing.

- Pitch calibration and deoxit, including headshell contacts

​

- Reflow essential solder joins and mechanical adjustments through out.

​

- Anderol 465 oil application in motor shaft

​

- Brake calibration

- Other minor preventative processes specific to model type.

$160 for Major Service. Above plus dismantle of tone arm assembly, clean and regrease, when these are seized up.

$275 for AST Full service. All the above and replacement of main components within the motor drive circuit. HIGHLY recommended, as whilst several Technics 1200 specific ICs have been discontinued for years, they are now no longer available, even from 3rd party parts suppliers. Once one fails, there is no repair, and the Mk7s are not designed with these components. Gold service ensures the continued health of this motor circuit, and therefor these main ICs controlling the motor.

$135 240V conversion, including parts and fitting. AST conversion kit includes potted transformer, fitting appropriate components within the power circuit, Australian standards power lead and finally tested and tagged. 

​

Strongly recommend these potted transformers as an upgrade on the factory E&I core Technics fitted. These reduce electrical interference and noise. Will fit for no labour cost as part of the AST full service.
